The Society offers grants of up to £500 in support of research into the archaeology, history, culture and environment of the Arabian peninsula.

There are two deadlines. Applications should be sent to Dr St John Simpson at the address below, or by email to SSIMPSON@thebritishmuseum.ac.uk, by 31st May and 31st October of each year. Applicants will be informed of the Society's decision within 6 weeks of those dates. The grant will be held for 12 months from the date of receipt of the award. Recipients will be required to provide a written report on their research with an account of the expenditure, to be submitted within 6 months of the expiry of the period for which the grant was made. Successful applicants will also be required to submit a summary of their research for publication in the next issue of the Society's Bulletin and may be asked to lecture to the Society on the subject of their research.
